London hit by Madrid bombers

Dubai - The same group that claimed responsibility for the terrorist attacks in Madrid on March 11 said on Saturday it was responsible for the attacks in London which killed more than 50 people.
The statement by the Brigades of Abu Hafs Al Masri, a group linked to al-Qaeda, was posted on an Islamist website.
The statement said a group of Islamic fighters "has hit the capital of the infidels living deaths and injured".
It added: "The next days will be marked by the biggest demonstrations of jihad (holy war) against those who have declared war on Islam and Moslems."
The authenticity of the statement has yet to be verified.
On Thursday, terrorists calling themselves the Secret Organisation Group of al-Qaeda of Jihad Organisation in Europe also claimed responsibility for the bomb attacks on London's transport network. - Sapa-DPA
