Jerusalem - Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's brain scan on Saturday showed a slight easing in swelling and his vital signs are stable, but he remains in critical condition and his life remains in danger, a hospital official said Saturday.
Hospital director, Dr Shlomo Mor-Yosef, said doctors would decide Sunday when to take Sharon out of his induced coma to examine the extent of the damage to the prime minister's brain.
Sharon was admitted to the hospital Wednesday after suffering a debilitating stroke. He has since undergone surgery on two occasions to stop bleeding and relieve pressure inside his skull.
