Berlin - A British Airways plane slid 200m past the end of a slippery runway at Hanover airport on Sunday, but none of its 45 passengers or four crew was injured, an airport spokesperson said.
The runway was wet and slippery with rain that was falling as the plane came in to land, the spokesperson said, adding that an investigation had been opened into the exact cause of the accident.
The plane came to a halt in a field adjoining the runway.
