Olmert orders retaliation

Los Angeles - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has instructed his defence minister to continue to "act against" Palestinian rocket fire following the death of an Israeli woman in an attack on Wednesday.
"Prime Minister Olmert has been updated and spoke on the phone with defence minister Amir Peretz and instructed him to continue to act against Qassam rocket fire and infrastructure," Olmert's spokesperson Miri Eisin told reporters.
"The prime minister sees the attack as extremely serious and expresses his deep sorrow for the death of the Israeli citizen," Eisin said in Los Angeles, where Ehud held meetings as part of a visit to the United States.
