Jerusalem - Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was evaluated by world-renowned coma expert Jerome Posner, said Hadassah Hospital spokesperson Yael Bossem-Levy on Sunday.
Posner, who wrote the definitive book of treatment of coma patients, was invited to Israel by Hadassah for his expert opinion on the treatment of the prime minister, who has been comatose since having a massive stroke on January 4.
Posner examined Sharon and spoke to the prime minister's family, Bossem-Levi said in a statement.
No details of the results of the examination were given.
Sharon's condition remains unchanged and continues to be defined as "critical and stable".
