Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia - All seven crew members aboard a Russian submarine that was trapped for three days at the bottom of the sea are alive and well, news agencies reported on Sunday quoting the Russian navy's general staff.
The crew members were feeling "normal" after their ordeal but would be transferred to a hospital in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to receive whatever medical attention necessary, RIA-Novosti news agency said, quoting an unnamed source with the Russian Pacific Fleet.
US and British planes carrying robotic undersea vehicles landed in Russia's Far East on Saturday to help rescue the seven sailors trapped in the mini-submarine.
