Teen drowns on school trip

Standerton - A teenager has drowned during a school trip to the Vaal River in Standerton, Mpumalanga police said on Sunday.
Captain Abie Khoabane said the 16-year-old boy drowned when the boat he was in overturned at about 16:00 on Saturday.
Police divers would try to recover his body on Sunday, Khoabane said.
