G8 condemn London attacks

Gleneagles - The "barbaric" London bomb attacks are attacks on all nations, the Group of Eight (G8) declared on Thursday.
"We condemn utterly these barbaric attacks," the G8 said in a statement read by summit host British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
"We are united in our resolve to confront and defeat this terrorism," Blair said. "This is not an attack on one nation, but on all nations and on civilised people everywhere."
Blair read the statement deliberately but appeared shaken as other heads of the G8 countries and five emerging nations stood with him at the Gleneagles golf resort in Scotland.
"We will not allow violence to change our societies or are values," the statement said.
