Paris - Transferring the critically-ill Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to the Palestinian territories to die is out of the question, an advisor to the president said on Saturday.
"Mr Arafat will only leave the hospital walking or dead. Every other option is ruled out," Mohammed Rashid told AFP.
Arafat has been in a hospital outside Paris since October 29 for treatment for a mysterious life-threatening blood disorder.
There continues to be conflicting reports over his exact state of health, whether he is in an irreversible coma or if his condition is curable.
