Los Angeles - Singer Barry Manilow was undergoing medical tests early on Monday in a Palm Springs, California, hospital after suffering chest pains due to stress, his publicist said.
The singer had returned home on Sunday from New York, where he had "two of the most gruelling days of arbitration in a lawsuit" involving a dispute over the rights to the musical "Harmony," which Manilow wrote with Bruce Sussman, publicist Jerry Sharell said.
Manilow was to remain hospitalised for various procedures and tests to bring his heart rate to normal, Sharell said.
