Boy killed by mousetrap

Hanoi - An 11-year-old boy was killed by an illegal electric mousetrap in southern Vietnam, a local police officer said on Thursday.
Trinh Cong Hien left his home in My Loc commune on Monday to go fishing, said Luong Van Tu, a police officer with the Vinh Long province police.
He was found dead on Monday night in a rice field in a neighbouring commune, 135 kilometres southeast of the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City.
The trap owner, Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung, 28, had illegally used electricity line to trap field mice to protect her paddy field, Tu said.
Dung was detained and faces questioning.
