Ariel Sharon out of surgery

Jerusalem - Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's surgery on Friday to drain blood from his brain and relieve intracranial pressure ended after more than four hours, said Yael Bossem-Levy of Hadassah Hospital.

He was taken from the operating room for a brain scan, she said.

The surgery was Sharon's second in two days and outside experts feared his prognosis was not good.
