Danbury, Connecticut - A woman is facing sex assault charges after allegedly groping a man working as Santa Claus at a US shopping centre.
Santa, whose real name was not released, claimed Sandrama Lamy touched him inappropriately while sitting on his lap at Connecticut's Danbury Fair mall over the weekend.
Lamy was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and breach of peace, The News-Times reported in its Tuesday edition.
She was released on a promise to appear in court on 3 January.
A message seeking comment was left on Lamy's answering machine on Tuesday morning.
