Drive into the garage of love

Rome - An Italian entrepreneur is planning to transform a car park into the "garage of love" providing a secure venue for couples seeking intimate moments behind the wheel.
Marco Donarini told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera that hotels are "too expensive", normal parking lots "too dangerous for couples", and out of the way motels "too uncomfortable".
The lack of options has inspired plans for "Luna Parking", which would be first carpark in Italy that officially accommodates the need for privacy.
Donarini is currently lobbying for support from the council of Bagnolo Cremasco, a small town in north-western Italy. If approved, couples will be able to rent a space at €10 per hour and a half. There are 38 parking spaces to drive into.
"It's a parking place and a garage, where couples who seek a bit of intimacy can go. It has hygiene facilities and there are vending machines for snacks and coffee," Donarini said.
