37 die as ferry capsizes

Dhaka - Thirty-seven people are dead around 150 are missing after a ferry capsized overnight near the Bangladesh capital Dhaka, police said on Sunday.
"About 200 people were on board the boat, MV Maharaj. It capsized in bad weather conditions around midnight last night," officer-in-charge Shafiqullah, who uses one name, told AFP.
"Up until early this morning we had found 37 bodies, but we fear that about 150 are missing," he said.
The accident took place in the Buriganga river at Pagla Bazar close to Dhaka.
