Madrid - Three Moroccans and two Indians suspected of involvement in the Madrid train bombings were on Friday remanded in custody without possibility of bail, after being questioned by a top Spanish judge.
The three Moroccans are suspected of belonging to a terrorist organisation, committing 190 murders and 1 400 attempted murders, causing material damage and stealing a vehicle, court sources told reporters on condition of anonymity.
The two Indians are suspected of collaborating with a terrorist organisation and falsifying documents, the sources said.
None of the five have been formally charged over the bombings on March 11. The last official toll for the attacks stood at 202 people dead and more than 1 500 injured.
