Streisand bashes Bush

Los Angeles - Barbra Streisand didn't disappoint fans at her first concert in 12 years on Wednesday night.
She serenaded fans with an array of her greatest hits and also launched a withering attack on her favourite political target President George W Bush.
Liberal activist Streisand, 64, decided to hit the road to raise money for her foundation, which supports a range of causes related to the environment, education, health care and other issues.
But between renditions of hits such as Funny Girl, and A Star is Born, she also introduced an actor playing Bush who amused the audience with quips like "I'm concerned about the national debt, so I'm selling Canada," and "If I cared about the polls I would have run for president of Poland."
Streisand will play 20 concerts in US cities during October and November. Her last US tour was in 1994.
The tour follows the release of her latest album, Guilty Pleasures, last September. In 2004, Streisand marked her return to the big screen, co-starring in the Ben Stiller comedy, Meet the Fockers. - AP/Sapa-dpa
