School head's office torched

Thohoyandou - A school principal's office was torched in the early hours of Thursday morning causing damage estimated at R150 000.
The office, at Shondoni secondary school at Lomondo village near Thohoyandou in Limpopo, was set alight about 06:00, but heavy rain doused the flames before fire-fighters arrived.
Superintendent Ailwei Mushavhanamadi of Vhembe police said: "We have opened an arson docket for investigation."
He said preliminary investigations showed the office was set alight on purpose.
He said a computer, two printers, a photocopier, a fax machine, two tables, chairs and files were destroyed in the blaze.
