Jerusalem - Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said on Monday that he did not rule out the evacuation of further settlements in the West Bank as he presented the platform of his new centrist party.
"While we are arriving at the final phase of the roadmap, during which we will fix the final borders of the state of Israel, you can suppose that some of the settlements will not remain in place," he told a news conference in Jerusalem.
"At the moment, there is no plan to dismantle additional settlements," he added in reference to his decision to pull troops and settlements out of the Gaza Strip and a small parcel of the West Bank over the summer.
