Bush: Kerry justly proud

Crawford - John Kerry can be proud of his record as a decorated Vietnam War veteran, said United States President George W Bush on Monday.
He was speaking amid controversy swirling around attacks on the Democratic presidential candidate's military record by a pro-Bush veterans' group.
"John Kerry served actively and ought to be proud of his record," Bush told reporters at a press conference after a meeting of his top military and defencse aides at his Texas ranch.
