UK hacker may be tried in US

London - A British court has recommended that Gary McKinnon, a British citizen, be extradited to the United States to stand trial on charges of hacking into American defence computer systems.
The feat has been called the "biggest military hack of all time".
British district judge Nicholas Evans, at Bow Street magistrates' court in central London, said McKinnon should be recommended for extradition.
The matter is expected to be passed to British home secretary John Reid for a final decision.
