London - Three people have been arrested in the industrial city of Coventry, in the West Midlands, under Britain's main anti-terrorist law, the metropolitan police in London said on Wednesday.
In a brief statement, it said the suspects - two men, aged 29 and 30, and a 41-year-old woman - were arrested on Monday under the Terrorism Act 2000 and taken to a London police station for questioning.
"Five premises in the Coventry area were searched in connection with the investigation.
"One is still being searched," said the police statement, which gave no further details.
