Dublin - Two teenagers were arrested at Dublin airport on Friday after a disturbance on board a Ryanair plane that allegedly involved one of them urinating at the back of the aircraft, the airline said on Friday.
A Ryanair spokesperson said the two youths refused to sit down as the early morning flight to Brussels-Charleroi taxied to the runway.
"The two guys stood up in the cabin when obviously for safety reasons they needed to remain seated when the plane was taxiing and about to take off," he said.
"They refused to sit down again and one of them went to the back of the plane and urinated.
"The cabin crew informed the captain and they returned to the departure gate and the airport police were called. Ryanair will be pressing charges."
The plane was cleaned and took off over an hour late.
Gardai (Irish police) said two men in their late teens were arrested under the Air Navigation and Transport Act.
"The men were taken to Dublin Airport Garda Station and later released. A file is being prepared for the director of public prosecutions in relation to the matter," according to a police statement.
