Melbourne - South African medium pace bowler Justin Kemp is in doubt for the second cricket Test against Australia with a shoulder injury.
However, batsman Jacques Kallis is almost certain to return to the line-up.
Kemp took match figures of 1-71 in Perth and scored 55 runs in a match-saving century stand with Jacques Rudolph on the fifth day, enabling the Proteas to draw the match.
South African captain Graeme Smith said on Saturday that Kemp didn't bowl in the nets on Friday or Saturday.
"We've got one niggle with Justin Kemp's shoulder, his right shoulder which is his bowling shoulder," said Smith.
"He's carrying a bit of pain at the moment."
Smith said he was confident Kallis would be fit to play after missing the first Test with an elbow injury.
"He said that he got through yesterday's session fine," Smith said of Kallis.
