Another century for Kallis

Durban - Honours were even in the first session on the third day of the second Castle Lager Test between South Africa and Australia at Kingsmead on Sunday.
South Africa added 81 runs to their overnight total of 140, Jacques Kallis reached his 24th century and Australia took two wickets.
Jacques Kallis, who had been imperious on Saturday afternoon, was much more circumspect in the morning session, particularly after his batting partner, AB de Villiers, was caught in the gully by Matthew Hayden off Stuart Clark in the third over of the day.
De Villiers went out three balls after reaching his third Test half century, which came up off 134 balls and included four boundaries.
Kallis and Ashwell Prince put on 56 runs for the fourth wicket, with Prince contributing 33 of the runs.
They safely took South Africa past the runs required to avoid a follow-on, but the partnership ended when Prince drove a Shane Warne delivery into the safe hands of Andrew Symonds at square mid-wicket about half an hour before lunch.
Kallis reached his century in the over before lunch, with a boundary off Warne. It had taken him just under four and a half hours, and came off 173 deliveries. His first 50 came off 49 balls, and the second off 124.
South Africa went to lunch on 221 for four, with Kallis not out on 104 and Jacques Rudolph on eight.
South Africa still trail Australia by 148 runs.
