Ferraris lead practice sessions

Spa-Francorchamps - Former world champion Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa each dominated a practice session for the Belgian Grand Prix on Friday.
Ferrari came out on top overall with Massa getting a clear edge over the field in the morning and finishing a close .05 seconds behind Alonso in the chaotic rain-interrupted afternoon session.
Championship leader Lewis Hamilton had confident showings in both, finishing third and fourth in his McLaren.
If anything, it confirmed that the winding track through the Ardennes woods still suits the Italian cars. Yet, it was also evident that Belgium's fickle weather with its sudden showers and spells of bright sunshine could be just as important in determining the outcome of Sunday's race.
