$7m prize money for athletes

Monte Carlo - This year's world athletics championships will offer more than $7m in prize money.
Individual champions will win $60 000 each, with $30 000 for second place and $20 000 for third, the International Association of Athletics Federations said on Wednesday. The top eight finishers will all receive money.
Relay teams will get $80 000 for gold, while athletes who set a world record will receive a $100 000 bonus.
The IAAF also said that 204 of the 212 member federations will be represented at the worlds in Osaka, Japan, which take place from Aug 25-Sept 2.
