Paris - A tennis player who made it through to the second week of the 2005 French Open tested positive for a banned stimulant, the sports daily L'Equipe said on Friday.
There is "at least one case concerning a product that is totally banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency," the paper said.
The player, who risks a two-year suspension, cannot be named until an independent tribunal of three people investigates the case, the paper said.
It said 152 players were tested during the tournament, including participants of fourth-round singles and quarter-finals doubles.
