Kenya stun Boks Sevens

Adelaide, Australia - Defending Adelaide champion and series leader South Africa were upset 15-14 by African rival Kenya in the final pool match on Saturday at the Adelaide Sevens rugby tournament.
South Africa, which beat New Zealand in last year's final, defeated Japan 43-0 earlier Saturday before its narrow loss to Kenya. Both teams qualified for the quarter-finals from Pool D.
Australia completed a 3-0 sweep of its pool with a 26-19 win over Samoa and a 31-5 victory over Portugal, as did New Zealand, which downed the United States a 27-5.
In Sunday's championship Cup quarterfinals, South Africa play New Zealand, Australia meet Argentina, Kenya take on Wales and Fiji, which won last week's Hong Kong Sevens, plays England.
South Africa went into the three-day tournament at the Adelaide Oval with 84 points in the IRB Sevens World Series, 16 better than second-place England. Adelaide is the sixth of eight tournaments on the series.
