Wellington match goes ahead

Wellington - Following a pitch inspection at 11:00 on Saturday match referee Chjrsite du Preez has ruled the Boland Stadium field in Wellington does not constitute a danger to player safety and the Kavaliers match with Vodacom Western Province in the Absa Currie Cup will go ahead as scheduled at 15:00 on Saturday.
It was announced earlier on Friday that the match would be played at Newlands because of the waterlogged state of the Wellington pitch.
