Chelsea manager back to school

Tel Aviv - Chelsea manager Avram Grant spent Monday in the Israel Football Association's classroom studying for a Uefa Pro license.
The course includes lectures on Uefa regulations, team tactics, African soccer and media coverage of European soccer.
"This is an obligation that Uefa has imposed on Israel," said Grant, who was studying with about a dozen other Israeli coaches. "We are Europeans and I understand we have to do this so I will do it."
Grant's lack of complete Uefa certification was raised in the British media after he took the Chelsea job last September. The former Israel coach was, however, given permission by European soccer's governing body to continue working as Chelsea manager as long as he committed to completing the Uefa course.
Grant will return later this month to continue his studies.
