Sundowns sign Vilakazi

Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns have reached an agreement with Danish Superliga club Aalborg BK, for the transfer of former Bafana Bafana midfielder Benedict ?Tso? Vilakazi.
The 26-year old Vilakazi, who has 42 Bafana Bafana caps and two goals, joins Sundowns on a four year deal and becomes the 11th player to join the Brazilians during this pre-season transfer period.
During this transfer period, Sundowns have already signed, Sibusiso Zuma, Siboniso Gaxa, Sydney Plaatjies, Katlego Mphela, Thembalethu Moses, Kurt Lenjties, Derrick Spencer, Koketso Mmotong, Dario Monterio and Thando Mngomeni.
"I am excited to return home and to play for Sundowns. Sundowns have a plan to become the best team in South Africa and on the African continent and I want to be part of that, ? said Vilakazi Saturday.
President of Mamelodi Sundowns, Patrice Motsepe said they were excited and welcomed Vilakazi to the Sundowns family. "We wanted to bring Vilakazi back to South Africa not only to strengthen Sundowns but also to compete and become part of the 2010 Bafana Bafana World Cup team."
