Prizes in excess of R170 000 from the following sponsors can be won in Spontaan 2008:

ZPR Communication Consultants: R73 800. Publicity and marketing with ZPR Communication Consultants worth R6 000 for each finalist, totalling R72 000. This includes an hour consultation with the ZPR team, a professional CV, design of CD cover, an entertainer biography and ten press releases plus full participation in a workshop for the finalists before the final, valued at R1 800.

Bloem Plaza: R33 600. A Nintendo Wii for each of the finalists and a gift for each finalist from Bloem Plaza.

Electronic Sound Research (ESR): R32 000. A total of 12 microphones (one for each finalist) valued at R21 500 and a R10 500 sound system for the overall winner.

Damelin: R20 000. A bursary to the value of R15 000 and recordings for the top three to the value of R5 000: Winner gets three songs, second place gets two songs and third place gets one song.

Revlon: R12 000. A gift hamper valued at R1 000 for each of the 12 finalists.

PricewaterhouseCoopers SA: R7 000. Winner receives R2 000, second R1 000 and third receives R500. Gift pack to each of the 12 finalists and an audited final.

Kh Marketing: R6 000. A gift pack of R500 for each of the 12 finalists.

Vodacom: R4 900. A cell phone and airtime to the winner to the value of R2 500 and also hampers and airtime to the 12 finalists to the value of R2 400.

Atlantis Guest House: R3 240. Winner gets three nights’ accommodation for two in the Atlantis Guest House in The Pearl Room with breakfast. Value: R1 710.
