The electricity crisis faced by Mandela Park section 3 residents is falling on deaf ears as far as the Maluti a Phofung (MAP) Local Municipality is concerned.
Scores of Free State residents gathered at the Charles Mopeli Stadium in Qwaqwa to celebrate Freedom Day on April 27.
Humbleness was the word mostly used to describe legendary freedom fighter, the late Thabo Mofutsanyana, during his commemmoration event held at the Old Parliament buildings in Qwaqwa.
By far the biggest slice of the budget pie of the Free State Provincial Government goes to the Education Department. The department was allocated R6 598 569 000 for the financial year which began on 1 April and will end on 31 March 2009.
