Young women reach out to community
A group of women decided to reach out and try to make a difference in the Bronville community. These women recently started an organisation called Thalitha Cumi (Arise and Shine). The name of the organization was chosen carefully and is based on a Bible verse that gives a message of hope. There is nothing that cannot be overcome. The main purpose and focus of these women is to help young women in need of support. They have decided to take a stand in the community and show their social responsibility by helping the youth to realise their value and worth. This group started a month ago and has big plans for the upliftment of Bronville. They recently hosted their first meeting where their vision was discussed. They also called young girls to the meeting to see what their view of life is. Their programme will be built on what is missing in the way women see themselves today and the growth and empowerment of young women.
