2 minutes with female rapper Rouge

Rouge broke into the market in 2014 with her single 'Party' which was playlist on 5 FM, the same year she completed her Drama & Film Degree at the University of Pretoria.

Born Deko Barbara-Jessica Wedi, Rouge is a 24 year old female rapper born in Pretoria with Congolese origins.

She started writing Hip Hop at age 19 years old and in the quest for greatness. Her latest hit single, Bongo Zaka featuring Nomuzi Mabena made it into the playlist of all the local radio stations in South Africa.

While pursuing music, she carried on with her studies and in 2014 she completed her Drama & Film Degree at the University of Pretoria.

The name Rouge means a playfully mischievous person.
