The Generations hunk is the picture of seductive sophistication in a fitted suit that shows off his toned physique and he looks right at home in the upmarket Sandton Boutique Hotel in Joburg.

It’s easy to see how Buyile Mdladla’s chiseled features and warm, velvety-smooth voice have won him legions of fans for his portrayal of Generations’ Lungile Mabena.

“I’ve been working out like crazy because my recent storyline has lots of gym scenes,” the 37-year-old says, flashing a sexy smile.

“I’m a skinny guy so I’ve had to hit the weights hard to look my best.”

Buyile’s storyline has been a hot topic for the show’s millions of fans since he paired up with one of Mzansi’s most loved soapie characters, Queen Moroka (Sophie Ndaba).

“Now that I finally have an on-screen love interest I have plenty of shirtless scenes, so I’ve had to shape up,” he laughs. “I’m having the time of my life on Generations and I finally get to be the guy who wins the girl.”

Lungile’s path to love has been a rough one. “First I lost out with Karabo and then Dineo, so I think it’s my turn to win,” he says.
