Andile has been with the show from the start

Khumbul'ehkhaya presenter Andile Gaelesiwe says when she initially got on to the show it was very difficult for her to just disconnect with the stories she saw and heard on the show. Some of the stories used to make her depressed and make it hard for her to do her job.

"At first, the stories broke my heart and I was always crying but that hardly happens now because I have learned that I also need to exhale," Andile said in a True Love interview.

Andile says as much as she loves Khumbul'ekhaya there is one thing she is fears the most; something she calls the founder's syndrome.

"My biggest fear is having the founder's syndrome where you don't ever want to let go and always be in the forefront," she says.

Andile has been with the show since its inception in 2006.
