Ask Sis Dolly: AM I AN ADDICT?

I’m 24 and married to a guy I’ve been with for five years. During the first four years of our relationship, I slept with almost 20 other guys because I found it exciting.

I stopped when I was pregnant with our daughter, but the craving for other men didn’t stop me and I continued masturbating.

I recently started flirting with my colleague and want to have sex with him. I think I’m an addict and need help as I don’t want

to ruin my marriage.

Sis Dolly answers:

Sex addiction, like any other addiction, is an obsessive compulsive disorder where you need to keep on doing something in order to get a release, but in the long term it is harmful to you and your family.

It could possibly also cost you your job and your marriage.

Contact The Foundation Clinic on 011-728-9200 for help.

The clinic is an addiction recovery centre and will either be able to provide you with the support you need or refer you to an institution that can.

I salute you for recognising that you might have a problem and for having the courage to ask for help.
