Anonymous asks:  I’m 16 years old and have had a crush on this boy for two years now. It was love at first sight and I can’t shake the feeling that he feels the same way. I’m tired of waiting for him to make a move. What shall I do? Must I tell him about how I feel? It’s making me ill! I’ve already been hospitalised once.

Sis Dolly answers: It’s up to you to decide whetheror not this crush is appropriate. You don’t say anything moreabout him – is he at school withyou? How old is he? Does hehave a girlfriend? If there arereasons why it would be betterto stay away from him, resist theurge to give him a sign thatyou’re interested in him.If there’s no good reason tohide your feelings any longer –after all, you’ve waited for twoyears – you can risk letting himknow you’ve got the hots forhim. Just remember that he hasalso had two years to make amove – and he hasn’t.Ask yourself – why not? Is heshy and tentative just like you?Or is he simply not interested inyou or not attracted to you?Perhaps the best move wouldbe to try to get to know himbetter as a friend before you risk everything by airing your feelingstoo soon. Take it one step ata time and you’ll soon know if heis going to reciprocate.
