Ask sis Dolly: It's only about sex

We've never had a decent time together, it's always about sex.

I'm married woman having an affair with a younger man. We've been together for 16 months. I really love him and don't know what to do. He has a girlfriend. What puzzles me is that he normally spends weekends with her but the first thing, on Monday morning, he wants me to be at his place. I'm not sure what to make of it all.

Sis Dolly answers:

I don't understand what you expect. You're both involved with other people, and split your time between your adultery and your actual partners. If you want to know where this relationship will lead, you need o ask him. It could be possible that he just sees you as a sex buddy, and doesn't have any future intentions. Your love may be misplaced and you're looking for excitement outside your marriage. If your marriage is no longer working for you, then do the right thing and let your husband know. If you still want to work on your marriage, I suggest you set up a counselling session. Call Famsa on 011 975 71 06 for more information.
