Small Business Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu talks family fun, tough politics and why she thinks SA is ready for a female president

You'd expect to be greeted by beefy bodyguards at the home of one of the country's cabinet ministers.

Instead, the lady of the house is on hand to welcome us.

And, as she opens the gates of her beautiful home. she's still dressed in a tracksuit and sneakers and perspiring lightly from her routine Sunday morning jog.

When tough politician Lindiwe Zulu isn't taking on the opposition in the National Assembly, you'll find her sweating it out on the road of her leafy suburb of Wendywood, north of Johannesburg.

"I am a gym fanatic and it's one of the ways that I relax after a hectic week," says the Small Business Development minister.
