A luxury home on a golf estate, a good family life, a thriving music empire, a legacy that includes recording the likes of Brenda Fassie and rebecca Malope – who could ask for more? And as music mogul Peter Tladi shows us around his home, it’s clear he’s having a grand old time.

It’s just as well, because for more than 40 years, Peter (60) has dedicated himself to his music career. From Pr, talent scout and artist management to promoter, he has championed a host of careers and has helped create stars.He’s a businessman, but his fame as the founder of the pivotal T-Musicman and the very successful Bula Music, as well as his career as a music executive, has made him something of a rock star himself. He’s also the man behind the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz festival at Newtown held in Joburg in August each year.
