Congratulations are also in order for reality TV stars Mongezi Ngcobondwane aka Toll Ass Mo and his wife Mome who are expecting their first baby.

Intersexions’ Lerato Mvelase and Rhythm City’s Bonolo Phiri have all had new additions to their families while veteran actress Leleti Khumalo had double joy and welcomed twins.

The latest of the lot is former One Day Leader presenter Masechaba Lekalake, who gave birth to a bouncing baby boy recently. Asked about motherhood her face lights up as she says, “I’m enjoying it. King Itumeleng brings a smile to my face all the time. I have no doubt that King was born to lead his generation.”

Masechaba looks good and there’s no sign of baby fat on her. She proudly reveals her secret: “I am breast-feeding and enjoying it. I’m planning to do this for at least six months.”

DRUM caught up with the 29-year-old presenter at the newly launched Power FM radio station’s media briefing, where she was also announced as one of the presenters.

Talking about her new venture, Masechaba says this is her first radio gig and she’s both excited and nervous about it.

“It’s a personal journey for me,” she says, adding that her fans are going to get to know her personally as well on her show Power Life, which airs weekdays between 7 and 9 pm.
