DRUM reporter Kaizer Ngwenya spends General Bantu Holomisa's birthday with him on the golf course.

He swings and hits the ball, making it look easy but looks can be deceiving, and golf, just like politics is a tricky business.

We're on the golf course with General Bantu Holomisa, who knows all about difficult games; it's the eve of his 60th birthday, and he's invited some of his friends to join him in celebration thereof.

And it's interesting to see who's  here.

"Today, I'm the most free politician," he tells us.

"I don't need bodyguards."

And so he mingles and chats with his high ranking friends.

"You'll notice most of the people here are members of the ANC," he says with a smile.

"We fight in Parliament but outside, we're friends."
