Earlierthis month news emerged that a fire outbreak has stopped the Big Brother Africa to film 9th season. But the good news is that a new house has been found for one of the most popular reality shows.

“I’m very excited that the show is starting soon. Everything was ready for Big Brother until this fire outbreak happened and we had to put everything on hold. I’m glad that we have found new home in Johannesburg for the show,” said excited Big Brother publicist, Michelle Esau.

A new venue had to be found after the original house at Sasani Studios in Highlands North burnt down. The show was scheduled to start on the 7th of September but was held back due to the fire.

According to M- Net press release statement, the search was concluded after exploring all possible options both locally and internationally, for a suitable venue to produce the 9th season of Africa’s biggest reality show. M-Net and Endemol SA are pleased to announce that Big Brother Hotshots will officially launch on Sunday 5 October 2014 at 19:00.
