She thought about the last day with Peter. He'd let her go that day; she was the one who was still holding on. He wanted her to have fun. Peter told her to take good care of herself, but was she doing what he had asked of her?

The answer was obvious: no. She cried so hard she couldn't cry any more. She finally forgave herself for neglecting herself and blaming people who had nothing to do with Peter's death. They hadn't dragged her away from him ? she'd made the decision by herself. And now she knew she'd soon have to make another decision. But she would make it in the morning, Daisy thought, and went to bed with a cup of tea. She slept well and woke having made her decision.

She would live life to the full ? it's what Peter would have wanted. Daisy looked at herself in the mirror and smiled her first real smile in ages. It shouted: I am free! She'd always love Peter. But he was resting peacefully. And she was going to come back to life. That day she had her hair cut and styled differently and went shopping for a new, sexier wardrobe.

Then, before heading back to the office on Monday, there was one thing left to do ? have a girls' night out! Most of her friends were shocked to hear from her. Some were curious about what was going on in her life. They met, talked about old times and she apologised and asked for their forgiveness. She told them she was no longer bitter but at peace with herself. Her friends loved her new look.  She was really beautiful. One thing they all wanted to know was which self-help book she'd read.

To their surprise, she told them it wasn't a book but a man. ??What had he said that they'd never said to her?'' they asked.

Nothing, Daisy told them and they laughed. Then the conversation turned to babies, cheating partners and life in general.

The End.
