There’s an old saying that when you eat from the pot it will rain on your wedding day. At this particular wedding it’s clear that both the groom and the bride took that advice, if the sunny weather with blue skies are anything to go by.

And the good weather seems to be the perfect excuse for the guests to dress to impress. They’ve certainly turned it out! We are at the Old Apostolic Church in Comptonville, south of Johannesburg, to witness the wedding of TV actress Bubu Mazibuko and her partner, Langa Masina. Bubu is renowned for her roles in Gazlam and the internationally acclaimed film Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom. A range of thrilled celebrity guests have descended on the tiny hall, including newlyweds Zizo and Mayihlome Tshwete, Zwai and Melanie Bala, Sophie Ndaba, Zikhona Sodlaka, Ronnie Nyakale, Isaac Makoe, and Bubu’s very close friend, Manaka Ranaka.
