Cars vandalised with pastries

Locals are suffering from a spate of "pastry vandalism" in Hillsboro, Portland.

Over the past six weeks, the locals of Hillsboro, Oregon, in the Northwestern United States have seen their vehicles and gardens covered with cakes and doughnuts, The Metro Newspaper reports.People have seen baked goods left on their windshields and windscreen wipers and one resident even reported an incident where pink yoghurt was wiped across their car bonnet.

Lieutenant Mike Rouches of the Hillsboro Police said: "'In my 25 years in police services, I have never investigated or seen a criminal mischief involving pastries."

The new "crime wave" is being dubbed as "pastry vandalism".
