Cassper Nyovest has done it again: his success at filling up The Dome, the rapper’s new album, Refiloe, has gone platinum.

The Gusheshe hit-maker revealed the news on Metro FM during an interview with Bonang Matheba on her show The Front Row.

“I just went platinum like yesterday,” he said.

Despite his latest triumph, Cassper is frustrated that his music isn’t played on radio. He said the only track from his latest album that’s receiving airplay is Mama I Made It, which he says is too old. Although he’s just put out about 20 songs, he said they aren’t being played on radio, and while he’s submitted tracks to different radio stations for the past few weeks they haven’t played any of them.

“They don't play my stuff on radio, man, but if you see on TV and radio they play other guys on high rotation. My stuff they play once in a while. For me it's such a big problem. I'm trying to grow,” he said.

Cassper said that after his successful concert filling up The Dome, the radio stations should be playing his music like they play Beyoncé’s.
